This research looked at how (and how far) the delivery of Tearfund’s water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services can contribute to local peace- and state-building in fragile and conflict-affected states (FCAS). It assessed Tearfund programmes in South Sudan and eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
