Voluntary counselling and HIV testing (VCT) is a process by which people concerned about their HIV status can freely and confidentially access get tested and receive pre- and post-test counselling. VCT is central to efforts to combat the HIV/AIDS epidemic. In some places, the process is called HTC (HIV testing and counselling) or CT (counselling and testing).

This activity explains what VCT is and helps people to think about the issues involved in going for VCT themselves.
