Facilitation skills

Tool containing basic guidance on what good group facilitation looks like

2016 Available in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish

Facilitation is the skill of encouraging all members of a group to participate so that they can achieve something together. It is different to teaching, which often involves the one-way sharing of information from teacher to student. Good facilitation ensures the sharing of information in several directions, so everyone can learn from each other.

This introductory tool contains basic advice and guidance on what good facilitation looks like. We suggest people read it before using any of the other facilitation resources in the Reveal toolkit.
