About this course
At any point along a community’s water supply, contaminants may enter, compromising the quality and safety of their drinking water.
Water safety planning is recognised by the World Health Organization as an effective approach to ensure safe and clean drinking water for communities.
This course will introduce you to water safety planning and explain how water safety plans address the risks to a safe drinking water supply, preventing contamination from occurring throughout the water supply journey.

Lastly, you will work through the steps involved in developing a community water safety plan.
