The Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS) is a set of nine commitments that organisations and individuals involved in humanitarian response can make to communities and people affected by crisis.

It helps to improve the quality and effectiveness of organisations providing humanitarian assistance. It also helps to facilitate greater accountability, because those affected by a crisis know what they can expect from the humanitarian support they receive.
