  1. Help Naomi, who works for a small community-based organisation, use the problem tree tool to get to the root causes of problems in her community.

  2. Accompany Naomi as she begins to research the problems they are having with their village water pump.

  3. Consider the risks involved and how to mitigate against them, before beginning any advocacy actions.

  4. Plan advocacy actions and consider the use of lobbying, campaigning and the media.
