This learning review paper provides recommendations to both the global church and to Tearfund’s church and community transformation partners on how and why it is important to sustain advocacy and continue to influence society during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using case studies that have been gathered globally, the paper answers three key questions:

  • Looking back, what does history tell us?
  • Looking at the Bible, are there lessons we can draw from?
  • Looking to the future, how can we build back better?
