There are many things to consider when building flood-resistant housing. This tool highlights the key things to be aware of in different contexts.

It may be useful for communities who wish to rebuild their flood-damaged houses in a way that makes them more resilient to future flooding, or for communities at risk of flooding who want to improve existing buildings.

Please note that this resource does not give step-by-step instructions on how to design and construct flood-resistant buildings. It does however signpost other resources which give more detailed technical instructions and advice.
