Tools that help communities to prepare for, respond to, or reduce the impact of potential hazards and disasters

If community members think disasters are entirely out of their control (eg sent by God), this activity can help them understand that there are still actions they can take to reduce the effects of disasters.

This activity uses a visual demonstration and discussion questions to help people understand that we can reduce some of the causes of disaster and that we can often do a lot to prepare for disasters.
