From: Why advocate?

Inspiration and guidance for understanding the importance of influencing the decisions, policies and practices of people with power to bring about positive, sustainable change to specific development issues.

We look at the global problem of climate change, how it affects development, what advocacy is and how it can be used to tackle the problem. We look at the role of local and national governments, international bodies such as the UN, civil society organisations and the church. We also look at why advocacy on climate change is needed and how to begin advocacy work around climate change.
