This research report advocates for transparency in the extractive industries as a way to tackle corruption.

It argues that oil, gas and mining companies should report on all payments they make to foreign governments, enabling citizens to hold their governments to account and ensure that the enormous wealth derived from their natural resources is used for the benefit of the whole society, including the poorest people.
