Masculinities, Faith, and Peace (MFP) is an adaptation of Tearfund’s faith-based Transforming Masculinities intervention. It addresses harmful social norms to improve the use of family planning, decrease intimate partner violence and increase social cohesion in mixed Muslim and Christian communities in Plateau State, Nigeria.
The brief, and its accompanying film (below), present key findings from the mixed-methods evaluation of the three-year MFP project.
The project was funded by the John Templeton foundation and implemented in partnership between Tearfund and Georgetown University’s Institute for Reproductive Health.
