From: Church and community mobilisation process (CCMP)

A collection of tools for use by facilitators and trainers of CCMP

The objective of the church and community mobilisation process (CCMP) is to empower people to transform their situations holistically using their God-given local resources.

The Light Wheel is a tool developed by Tearfund to help us think more practically and holistically about the areas of life we must consider if we want to see whole-life transformation. When each of the Light Wheel’s nine aspects of wellbeing is being impacted positively, we can say that holistic transformation - the objective of CCMP - is being achieved.

This resource, developed by CCMP trainers in West Africa, helps facilitators to integrate the Light Wheel into the church and community mobilisation process (CCMP). It gives clear guidance on how to facilitate the activities, Bible studies, tools and community decisions in the CCMP facilitators’ manual using the lens of the nine aspects of wellbeing.
