The internet and mobile phones can play a useful role in any advocacy initiative. An organisation does not need to spend a lot of money or have technical expertise to use them in advocacy work.

This document gives guidance about using mobile phones, social networking sites and other digital technologies to raise awareness of advocacy issues. It also suggests ways to encourage people to get involved in taking action and to keep them updated.
