This report shares the results of an ethnographic assessment taken in 2019, part way through the delivery of the Masculinité, Famille, et Foi (MFF) programme in eight local churches in Kinshasa, DRC.
It analyses:
- the quality of MFF implementation
- community acceptance of MFF principles
- the effectiveness of MFF messaging
- attitudes towards gender among faith leaders, gender champions, newly married couples and first-time parents
MFF was developed by Tearfund in partnership with the Institute for Reproductive Health (IRH), Association de Santé Familiale (ASF), and Population Services International (PSI).
