How to eat well, address malnutrition and reduce food waste

Eating a variety of foods helps to ensure that we have all the nutrients we need to stay healthy and strong.

Most foods contain a mixture of nutrients, as illustrated in this poster. Each day, we should try to eat a healthy balance of carbohydrates, proteins, fibre, fats, vitamins and minerals.
