From: Reveal toolkit: Climate and environment

Tools that explain climate change and environmental degradation and help communities to protect and care for their environment and adapt to a changing climate

In this game, up to six players move counters across a grid to reach the goal. 'Slides’ – representing setbacks like drought, malaria or deforestation – make it more difficult to win, but ‘ladders’ – representing things that assist the environment like rainwater harvesting, composting or tree planting – help players to reach their goal more quickly.

The actual slides and ladders used in the game can be made specific to the local community. These can then encourage discussion about things that help and harm the local environment.
