This case study illustrates how efforts by Tearfund to build the capacity of local partners in South Sudan enabled faith-based organisations to advocate powerfully for marginalised communities during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The collaboration between organisations with local knowledge and a range of expertise enabled more comprehensive advocacy and resulted in an effective and timely humanitarian response.
