Originally produced in 2011, in response to the Canterbury earthquakes by Tearfund NZ, this resource has been revised to include information that is relevant to the Covid-19 pandemic and is being used by the Tearfund family around the world. Based on a holistic and theological understanding of well-being, it includes guidance on:

  • psychosocial support
  • social response to disaster or crisis
  • psychological responses to a disaster or crisis
  • identifying when specialised help is needed
  • helping specific groups and at-risk groups
