We invited delegates to join us as we reflected on the successes and failures of the past and considered how the global church can be more effective in overcoming poverty in the years to come, as we seek to live in and transform a broken world as God’s chosen people.
The biblical idea of jubilee was our touchstone and birthed the Global Forum on Church and Poverty.
Thinking Theology Gatherings
Our Thinking Theology gatherings are designed to support theologians, church leaders and other Christian leaders working in relief and development. These conferences give delegates the chance to reflect on the Bible and be inspired to let God’s word shape their work. They provide a space for people to think about the nature of mission and what being disciples of Jesus means for the way we work, lead and deal with difficult issues.
