This is a summary report of qualitative research carried out in the African Great Lakes region to explore social attitudes and practices of men and women in relation to male identity, gender roles, manhood, gender relations and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), with the aim of challenging and equipping the church to promote equitable, caring, non-violent relationships and positive masculinities.
