This policy paper builds upon recommendations from a 2010 report commissioned by the UK Hunger Alliance that analysed the policy and programming response to the 2008 food price crisis.

It provides five urgent recommendations to G20 policy-makers for reducing the vulnerability of poor and marginalised households to food price rises.
